Dennis A W Fordham

I don’t normally write a review but my attorney Dennis Fordham is definitely worthy of a review. I first met with Dennis in February of 2020 to assist me with an estate settlement. There was not a will or trust and as a result this estate was much more complicated that I had originally thought it... would be. It involved two pieces of real estate (one of which had an unclear title), and a large amount of personal property which had to be inventoried. Dennis did a great job. He was able to find the appropriate people to assist with getting an inventory completed. We also had to have 2 environmental reviews done. It would have been impossible for me to do this job by myself. He was always available to speak with me at anytime. I highly recommend him.

Dennis’ experienced hand and demeanor helped us navigate the challenges of setting up a trust as we planned for an uncertain future in the time of COVID-19. No, we didn’t have a clue when we walked into the office but Dennis’ patient and competent demeanor gave us more and more confidence as we worked to sort out and deal with the many issues folks face as they consider what comes next.

Dennis made out our current trust. In the year and a half since my husband's death, he has guided me very efficiently and kindly through the process of selling properties, getting an accountant, and dealing with the entities that are so hard to navigate on one's own. He included me in all the emails... regarding the trust, was available when I needed help, and explained things that I didn't understand (sometimes more than once!). I found him, and his secretary to be good listeners and always of good humor. I am very pleased that I have a surviver's trust so I don't have anything to worry about. I recommend him highly.

We now sleep better at night, knowing we’ve taken care of business.
