after the death of my life partner of many decades i was devastated and put my trust in frist one person and than another attorney over a period of nearly two years who assured me that they could bring my will and probate to completion. the whole time was a litany of broken promises, appointments no...t kept, shoddy work, and a situation that left me totally hopeless and adrift. i had virtually totally given up that this would ever be resolved and to put it quite bluntly, i was shattered and had lost most if not all of my trust in anyone. enter mister fordham. the process from then on changed completely. within several weeks i started feeling like oh, so this is how this is supposed to be done. calls were kept. calls were sent to me by mister fordham on anything and everything that i needed to know or do during the whole process. mister fordham to put it in a few words saved my life. that is how i felt after what i had previously been through. dennis you can trust implicitly always.

When my late Father passed away I didn't know what to do. Luckily for me my Dad did do a few important things when he was alive. He did a will but most importantly a trust. This was helpful but I learned after he died that you need an Attorney that deals with estates & probate to properly navigate... you to the end. Unfortunately the Attorney that prepared my fathers will and trust had died. I did not have to deal with probate but without Dennis' help I would have made critical mistakes. You can't just Google your way around this stuff. Get Dennis to get have it done correctly and legally. He is whip smart, fair, and thorough. He has a unique stoic professional demeanor so don't be put off by that. My personality is the polar opposite of his. At first I was caught off guard by this. Dennis means business and he is not there to chit chat and waste his, or more importantly, your time. Your will pay for every minute of his time but it is money well spent. Also since he is a stickler on billing his time, this will work to your advantage also. I received a substantial refund from my original retainer because of this efficiency. I was very pleased with Dennis and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Mom passed in May 2022, and although I had been paying the bills and taking care of her house and property, now I needed to fulfill the duties of executor, something that I knew little about. Dennis Fordham was there for me. Dennis is experienced, knowledgeable, and caring. Most of all he was patient... with me, explained things in great detail, and tried to make sure that I understood. Dennis even took on a company that I had hired earlier, that promised to help, but failed in the end. Dennis and Janita are both wonderful. Highly recommended, and I would work with them again.

We sought Dennis Fordham to prepare our wills and trust because he is a senior specialist. I have enjoyed his columns in our local paper "Lake Co Record Bee" for years. We sought his services when we had an immediate need to pull my sister's business together. Unfortunately, he was not available th...at day, and she died before we could complete our documents with someone in her area. By procrastinating the legal process, she left me with a nightmare to deal with. I had to go through probate and spend all of our savings up front since I could not access her accounts. Merl and I put this as a high priority for our family so they are protected. There is no question of our wishes, and authority is established for our children. Thanks to Dennis, and his assistant Janita for making this such an easy process for us. We can enjoy our senior years knowing all is planned for.
