I consulted Mr. Fordham concerning a question raised by my CPA, regarding changing the manner of title on a house I sold last year after my wife's passing. He was quickly able to analyze the issue and give me a clear and simple opinion, unfortunately not favorable but resolved without doubt. Had ...I instigated matters before I sold the house, there would have been a noticeable tax advantage, but not subsequently. An opportunity missed. I appreciate Mr. Fordham's ability to translate legal matters into plain English, without Latin or obscure references to various sections of law. I will be consulting him again on estate matters in a few months, and can recommend his careful expertise to others with complete confidence.

I'm 68 and live in Northern California. My kids are on the other end of the continent in New Hampshire. Dennis made out our current trust. In the year and a half since my husband's death, he has guided me very efficiently and kindly through the process of selling properties, getting an accountant, and dealing with the entities that are so hard to navigate on one's own. He included me in all the emails... regarding the trust, was available when I needed help, and explained things that I didn't understand (sometimes more than once!). I found him, and his secretary to be good listeners and always of good humor. I am very pleased that I have a surviver's trust so I don't have anything to worry about. I recommend him highly.
