Orchideh Vaghti

In my opinion a defense attorney’s primary mission is to get the most favorable outcome possible for their client. Orchid Vaghti lives and breathes that mission! My son got a DUI and was not allowed a public defender because he makes more than $2000 a month. Orchid came highly recommended from sev...eral sources within the legal community. We were told that DUI’s were her specialty and she is really good at what she does. We were able to borrow the money to pay her extremely reasonable flat fee. My son’s case was complicated because he had an “unresolved” issue in another city from over 5 years ago. From our first meeting with Orchid I was extremely impressed with her knowledge, tenacity, and professionalism. Orchid was able to sort out the legal mess my son was in and build a defense to result in the best possible outcome for my son. Her actions were successful! She was able to get my son sentenced on the same day in two different courts ensuring that he receive the same conviction on each count enabling him to plead to the same level of DUI in each court. What impresses me most about Orchid is she treats her client like a valued person. She explains everything thoroughly and in detail from the very first meeting. She completely takes charge of every aspect of the case including all dealings with the DMV and complying with all sentencing requirements. She was also willing to hand hold a very nervous Mom through the whole process. Orchid Vaghti goes absolutely above and beyond for her client. I was arrested for a first time DUI. I called the law office on Sunday and Orchid got back to me that day. We set up an appointment for the next week. She explained what was involved in terms that I could clearly understand. She did not make any promises as to the outcome but I knew she would do an e...xcellent job of defending me. She is totally knowledgeable in that area and explained each step as we went along. She always returned my telephone calls even when I was asking the most mundane, and probably silly questions. Orchid did a great job with my case. She was efficient, helpful, and patient ! Long story short : I had a DUI 5 years ago and my lawyer at that time did not do a good job and he didn't close the case properly... And last year, after a police control, the court asked me to come back and explain my s...ituation. I am not American and I was in California for a few years only so I wasn't aware of the details of some procedures.
