Perhaps if you are looking for someone to escalate, increase conflict and wreak havoc on the other party, Kate is worth your hire. But, she was assigned as our child's minor counsel in a high-conflict divorce and she caused irreparable harm to my child. Immediately siding with the charming, manipul...ative abuser, she filed false allegations against the protective parent, which shifted custody in the abuser's favor and never reverted back, despite evaluations proving her allegations were unfounded. She in no way represented our child's best interests and instead didn't invest the time, energy into fully understanding our admittedly complex case. She is a shame to the system and should not be serving as minor's counsel for any child.

She meticulously walked me through every step in the process, ensuring my rights as a father were respected. My gratitude cannot be overstated! Thanks to Kate, I not only have custody of my daughter, she and I have an amazing bond!

I hired Ms. Henderson to handle my divorce. She immediately took my side but I was uncomfortable with her method of trying to escalate my grievances to depict them as larger criminal violations. Ms. Henderson is inexperienced because she wasted time and effort on a pointless battle for full custody w...hen that could never have been accomplished because it is not in the best interest of the children. She engaged in petty verbal rhetoric such as chastising the opposing attorney for addressing her by her first name, when she clearly referred to him by his first name in the email chain. This kind of exchange had nothing to do with the legal issues and likely just increased the hostility in an already hostile situation. Her solution to file a restraining order back fired and both my ex and I ended up with restraining orders with our children trapped in a hellish situation between us. She was more gung-ho about ripping my ex apart and escalating than negotiating for a peaceful settlement. The last thing anyone needs while going through a divorce is more contention. Her lack of organization and preparation was evident throughout the time we worked together; she was often impossible to reach when needed for consulting; consistently running behind schedule on deliverable promised and did not follow through on many of the issues we had discussed prior to our mediation session. For example: A 147 page document was compiled by her staff for review by the mediator, she left it until about an hour before the mediation session to finalize and send to the mediator. This would not have given the mediator any chance to read through and understand the underlying long-term issues in this case. I feel her work products were self-serving in that it resulted in escalating contention and increasing the overall duration of the process. I feel Ms. Henderson did not handle my family law case responsibly, honestly, and with diligence - her method and choices really harmed my situation.
