John “Jack” Sanford is a litigation associate with Abbey, Weitzenberg, Warren & Emery. Jack’s practice focuses on plaintiffs litigation, primarily personal injury lawsuits.
Jack was born and raised in Piedmont, California. He attended college at the University of Colorado and law school at University of San Francisco. Prior to law school, Jack worked as a paralegal at Lieff Cabraser in San Francisco where he contributed on numerous consumer class action lawsuits.
During law school, Jack was a law clerk at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy in Burlingame where he worked on the San Bruno pipeline explosion case. Later, Jack clerked at Walkup Melodia in San Francisco and worked on personal injury cases. Jack has solely represented plaintiffs throughout his legal career.
While at law school, Jack focused on civil litigation and participated in USF’s Intensive Advocacy Program. Jack was also a board member of the school’s San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association chapter.
In his spare time, Jack enjoys skiing, running, and surfing.
