Satisfied client

My husband and I recently hired Tammi for a family law matter and it was a success. She was our third attorney so we know what we were looking for. she's very personable. Our family went through a recent tragedy and she handled our case with grace. she also handled everything in a timely manner tha...t was COST effective for our family. we appreciate her and would use her again, if we have to. we got what we were hoping for within only one court date. We are forever grateful

Wonderful

Tammie is not only professional but caring. She is currently taking my case and I was encouraged by a para legal to get her. I was very fortunate that she took my case. Her passion and support has been above and beyond my expectations. i truly believe I have found not only the best lawyer but a f...riend for life.

She's the best!

I went through a horrendous, arduous divorce. My divorce was moved from one county to Stanislaus County. So many twists and turns were happening with my case. I was dealing with a narcissist ex, who was trying to deface my character, take my children and alienate them from me. I had two previous att...orneys, that didn't quite know how to deal with the complexity of my case. I felt hopeless until I hired Tamie. Tamie proved to be amazing! She Understood how to deal with the narcissist personality disorder, and was able to wrap up my divorce rather quickly. She and her office were always honest, timely, and reliable. My children and I are happy. Life is good again. I will always recommend her, she saved our family.

Terrible!!!

I hired Tamie to collect child support arrears. It took her over 2 years to bring the case to trial. More excuses than my dead beat ex. The first trial she never showed up for, and told me not to show up either, needless to say the judge was not very happy at the second trial. Again, an excuse on her... part. When the case was finally heard, Tamie never said one word, but had an attorney whom I’d only met the day before (on a SUNDAY, for about 30 minutes) do all the talking. He did not pursue anything of substance as he didn’t know much about the case. I paid for the services, but refused to pay the final bill once I saw the pitiful job that was done on my case. I wrote the company she was now working for, explaining the situation and they waived the charges. I filed a complaint with the State Bar and it was being looked into but I became very sick (missed 5.5 months of work) and was not able to finish the process in the time limit. I would steer all people clear of her.

I am very excited to announce that I recently passed the California Legal Board Specialist examination for family law attorneys. Only a limited number of attorneys in the Central Valley area successfully pass this exam. This is a great honor and a testament to the vast knowledge and experience of family law statutes and case law possessed by the attorney who becomes Board certified. Unfortunately, we family law attorneys do not have control over the court docket and cannot force the Court to move quicker or set trials sooner. This process simply takes patience. There are a few tips I can provide regarding child support arrears that will help with collection efforts. Although there is no statute of limitations for collecting past due child support arrears, you should not wait to start enforcement efforts. The longer you wait, the more difficult the collection efforts, especially if you wait in excess of 15 years. Remember also there are often defenses for failure to pay child support when due. For example, if a minor child changes residence to the obligor parent, that change may give the obligor an opportunity to raise an equitable relief defense. It makes sense if you think about it. There are many tips I can provide for a successful attorney/client relationship. For example, it is very important to disclose all pertinent information to your attorney. Waiting until the last minute will not benefit anyone. We care for our clients and strongly advocate even when we are presented with difficult and challenging issues. In fact, there are times that we have waived fees even though we advocated strenuously and presented all that there was to offer. We do this because we care and because the facts do not always support the clients desired results! There is one last tidbit of advice. You can go to the California Bar website when searching for an attorney rather than believing what you read or hear about an attorney. The Bar will post disciplinary action taken against an attorney. Research the truth and make an informed decision about your legal representation. Do no hesitate to call for your free family law consultation and decide for yourself.
