Mark Tod Sullivan

Mark Sullivan is a Certified Criminal Law Specialist with over 28 years of criminal law experience. Mr. Sullivan began his legal career in 1987 when he was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan Bar. In 1989, he was admitted to the State Bar of California and has been continuously practicing law in California ever since. Mr.Sullivan served as a Stanislaus County Deputy District Attorney from 1991 to 2003 where he was assigned to drug, career criminal, domestic violence, gang and homicide units. In 2003, Mr. Sullivan founded the Law Office of Mark T. Sullivan, an exclusively criminal defense practice and began his career as a criminal defense attorney.  Mr. Sullivan uses his prior prosecutorial knowledge to his advantage in order to help his clients build defenses in their criminal cases. In 2006, Mr. Sullivan was designated as a Certified Criminal Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Throughout his legal career, Mr. Sullivan has taken over 100 felony and misdemeanor cases to jury trial. Mr. Sullivan is a Death Penalty qualified criminal defense attorney and has been a part of legal teams that have successfully got the death penalty dropped against their clients.
