Simran Singh Sekhon

The absolute WORSE experience and outcome imaginable! Our initial meeting with SIMRAN SEKHON was one that he represented that he had trademark infringemnet experience (Intelluctual Property as a area of service listed on his website) , and that our case was straight forward. After providing him the ...evidence to our case, SIMRAN SEKHON gave us confindence we would win and that he would take care of all filings and responses to the USPTO and to the defendant. SIMRAN SEKHON handled our opposition of our trademark with such NEGLECT. His lack of not resonding to the USPTO motion by the defendant, awarded the opposing party the judgement. SIMRAN SEKHON convinced us this was a formality and filed the opposition again to have the same outcome! Dismissed with Prejudice not once but twice (after consulting with other attorneys the success rate of over turning a dismissal with prejudice with the USPTO is highly unlikely and very expensive in attorney fees to even try)! His negligence, or lack of knowing what he was doing is what lost our case and our trademark! His arrogance and dismissal of our concerns throughout the process was outrageous. AND....the defendant in our case had no attorney representation! We filed a claim with the California State Bar requesting our retainer back and the continued hours billed by SIMRAN SEKHON outside of the retainer (of which we never received until we informed him we are stopping this madness and let him go) and we were awarded the judgement after they reviewed the mishandling of our case by SIMRAN SEKHON. SIMRAN SEKHON was requested by the State Bar to return all of our money. We hired him in 2017 and the length SIMRAN SEKHON stretched this nightmare out didn't end until 2019. Our ownership of Our trademark was taken to add insult to injury. We would of pursued mal practice lawsuit against SIMRAN SEKHON if litigation did not cost so much upfront in attorney fees. Our conscious can not rest, we feel it our duty to warn the public. It has taken this long to post this review from the devastation SIMRAN SEKHON's negligence has inflicted upon us. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Sekhon is a very intelligent individual. From the day I hired him I knew I had nothing to worry about. He was very timely with all of his material. For the most part all of my calls were answered that were put into him. (Attorneys are busy individuals) My lease was done before he actual said ...it would be done. Once we went over the lease together I had nothing to worry about. Hopefully I do not run into situations where I have to hire an attorney but if needed Mr. Sekhon will be on speed dial.
