RUN. FORREST. RUN.

How is this guy allowed to practice Law ANYWHERE? While he was scrambling to file an appeal on my behalf, after we lost our case, he missed a motion thatt was filed, requiring me to pay the defendant's attorney fees. I now have a judgment against me because my attorney couldn't manage his time prop...erly in order to show up in court to oppose the motion. On top of that when he finally got the appeal together to file it was a week late and it was considered null and void by the Supreme Court. He could not figure out how to properly register his firm with the County's e-file system in order to receive correspondence from the court regarding your case . The email information that he entered was not a working account. The judge told him to be sure that he corrects it immediately so it will not cause further issues . He never followed through to make sure that the court had his correct contact information. This guy is a clown! Beware you are asking for more trouble than you're currently in if you hire this guy to represent you. RUN FORREST RUN!!!

Made a business out of collecting retainers

I hired Mr. O'Bryant fresh out of school, so he had no reviews. He met me in a shopping mall back office, Better Call Saul style, told me he was opening an office in Reno soon, and collected $10k retainer. He then did no work on my case. Didn't file for 2 years, didn't depose a witness for 4 yrs, did...n't defend an MSJ, and then didn't oppose a $16k judgement he said I couldn't get, and then quit returning calls. I found reviews that he collected retainers from other people, too, and did no work. Seems like a nice business model! I am filing a grievance and encourage everyone else to do the same if wronged by an attorney.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards

  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
