Lindsay Guinn Metzinger

Lindsay helped me with a child custody case that was very difficult--especially since my co-parenting partner was not the least bit interested in working together or compromising. We began with informal discussions and ended up taking it all the way to a court hearing. The experience was brutal, but ...my experience with Lindsay was completely positive. My first impression, and one that lasted, was how Lindsay was always interested and engaged. She listened to me fully and always waited to hear all of the details before helping decide on the best plan for action. When I tried to call her for any reason, big or small, I always got through or received a call-back the same day. She was also very knowledgable and always flexible. Lindsay always looked ahead saw and all of the options available. When we discussed options for our case, she always explained all these different possibilities in a way that was easy to understand. She never simply decided on one approach ("let’s take it to court”) then stuck to it. She was open at all times and all stages of the process to looking at the problem with fresh eyes and thinking of new possible solutions. Maybe most importantly, working with Lindsay was open and collaborative. I aways felt that I was involved in the decisions and I had the final say in decision-making. We would talk out options and together decide the best one. I never felt pushed into a decision. I always had enough time and help to create the best plan for my own needs. Working with her made a difficult process much easier.
