Biography
I am 63 years old, and have been practicing law in California for over 38 years, since I graduated from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1980, and passed the California Bar Examination on my first attempt. I speak fluent Spanish, and offer legal services in Spanish to my monolingual Spanish-speaking clients.
My 33 year old son, Michael P. Carty, has recently passed the State Bar of California attorney exam, and been approved by the State Bar of California, with regard to his high moral character review, to become a California attorney. He will soon become an Associate Attorney with the Carty Law Offices of Stockton and Modesto, and increase the level of service that we will provide to our clients. He has been diligently working for the Carty Law Offices for the past ten years, as a Law Clerk, Office Manager, and Intern.
The Carty Law Offices ("CLO") have convenient locations in Stockton and Modesto, California. CLO provides excellent quality legal services, seeks the best results possible, and provides adequate support staff to provide excellent service to our clients. We screen new clients, and only take the workers' compensation and personal injury cases of people with serious physical injuries, so that we have a small enough caseload in order to provide excellent legal representation to the claimants who we have accepted as our clients. We work within the highest ethical and moral standards for the honorable legal profession. We provide honest, direct, candid legal advice to our clients in a friendly, respectful, and courteous manner. We have prompt appointments available, and take the time to completely explain our client's legal rights and options to our clients before they settle their cases. We believe that clients should be given the respect of educating them so that they may make educated decisions in how we proceed and settle their cases. We have excellen support staff, including an experienced Law Clerk who is a law school graduate, two Biliingual Legal Assistants, a Bilingual Receptionist, and other support staff to assist us in providing excellent legal representation to my law firm's clients.
