David Robert Bunger

I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2000, where I competed as a Division I athlete and earned degrees in Political Science and English. I then attended the UC Davis School of Law (Martin Luther King, Jr. Hall), where I earned a position on the law school's moot court board and served as one of the board's executive members.

Following law school graduation and my admission to the California Bar Association, I practiced in the Walnut Creek office of a large, California based firm for one year. In 2008, I joined the San Jose office of Bowman and Brooke, LLP, a two-hundred attorney national law firm, where my practice focused on product liability defense and commercial litigation. In 2012, I joined a litigation law firm in Oakland to gain greater experience in the areas of labor and employment law and trade secrets misappropriation. In 2013, I joined a litigation boutique law firm in Redwood Shores to further enhance my experience and practice in labor and employment law and general commercial litigation. I founded David Bunger Law, P.C., in 2014.

I was born in Redwood City, California, and grew up in San Jose, where I graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory in 1996. Having spent nearly thirty years living and working in the South Bay, I am very familiar with issues unique to businesses and individuals in our community. I currently live in San Jose with my wife and daughter. When I am not working or parenting, I enjoy snowboarding and rooting for the California Golden Bears, San Francisco 49ers, the Golden State Warriors, and the San Francisco Giants.
