A rare breed of lawyer; highly recommend

I found Braid through AVVO when my father found himself on the receiving end of an auto insurance claim. I consulted with several attorneys through AVVO, and he stood out as one of the few who was willing to take time to listen, advise, and offer actionable and detailed information even though I had... not engaged his services yet. I sensed he was unpretentious yet extremely knowledgeable and had the patient disposition to work well with my elderly parents. I was not disappointed. Mr. Pezzaglia skillfully guided us (with me out-of-state) through the legal maze, thoroughly explaining our options and working with the insurance attorney behind-the-scenes to negotiate a reasonable settlement. It gave me great confidence to know my parents were receiving ethical and highly experienced professional assistance in their case. He responded to communications promptly, and his fees are quite reasonable. Without a doubt, he has my highest recommendation.

Excellent Lawyer and Staff

First, I’d like to thank Braid and his team for getting me a great settlement for my personal injury case. They made it very easy for me throughout the whole process always keeping me abreast of the updates in terms a normal person understands. They were aggressive in dealing with the insurance compa...nies and maximized the settlement. Braid cam highly recommended and without a doubt I’d use him again.

Two words: "Life. Changer."

"WHY BRAID"? Was my first question. Allow me to explain. Braid is, if not, an angel sent to me from above. It was a "coincidence" to land him as my representative. *I CAN NOT explain the emotional distress of continuous emails, calls, texts, etc from other legal representatives - making me feel hound...ed!!!* (I realize their side, but come on! The hounding and inconsistent info is just a run around!!!) Braid's approach was opposite. He immediately approached me with the most welcoming and inviting tone (I was very emotional) but felt SAFE with him from the start - as he provided me ENDLESS information to help me, mind you, not call or hound me...just simply approaching me, like a FRIEND, stating facts about my case in which I was NULL TO THIS INFO! Braid, as I told you, you're an angel in my life for a reason. (Believe me, as a US CITIZEN, INNOCENTLY OWED TONS OF MONIES, I was so traumatized from the initial accident, not even focusing on my entitlement.) All the sudden this man (ALSO NOT focused on MONEY) - helped me throughout and steered me in the direction I didn't even think existed. **Take it from me, an innocent and extremely null to legal information about suing person, BRAID is hands down in it for everything on YOUR SIDE and MORE IMPORTANTLY, *YOUR RIGHTS!!*! My words will never express my ever-ending thankful little angel that God sent to me. Mr Braid. - (Yes I'm real lol, yes this info is 100% from a sarisfied Civalized Human Being, not a robot). LOL THANK U BRAID!!! - R.

Eternally grateful, Mr. Pezzaglia

We had a hostile, out of control employee who was threatening me and my business partner, and attempting to take over a part of our small business. When we instead fired him, threats escalated to the point we were afraid for our lives. As employers and a low revenue business, we had a very hard time ...finding help - all public services we contacted were geared towards helping only employees, not employers, and we were continually dismissed. Police took information and did nothing. Mr. Braid Pezzaglia was highly recommended by a friend, and although this kind of situation was not what he normally does, he kindly agreed to consultation. He patiently listened to the entire story, asked many great questions, gave us guidance on how and what to document and pay attention to in case of a legal action, and the advice on how to respond to this person. He took into account our resources (or the lack of) when helping us decide on the course of action as well, and had never placed the financial considerations ahead of what was best for us. I was quite traumatized at the time and not always at my best, and Mr. Pezzaglia was very patient with my occasionally emotional responses, and able to steer me towards useful dialogue while making me feel better at the same time :-). With Mr. Pezzaglia's advice, we were able to eventually deescalate the situation and stop this crazy person from harassing and threatening us, and we never heard from him again (two years and counting now, keeping fingers crossed). If I, my family or my company ever need legal help again, he'll be the first person I contact - not just because he's so good at what he does, but also because he really cares for his clients.

Hi Silvia, Thank you for the kind words and for giving me the opportunity to assist you. Many times we are presented with difficult and troubling circumstances that seem beyond our control. It brings me great satisfaction to be able to offer meaningful solutions that help get things back on track. I'm glad it worked out!

"I've worked with Mr. Pezzaglia on many cases where I handled the workers' comp aspect and he handled the personal injury aspect. He is one of the best I've ever worked with in my 36 years of practice. He knows how to put a case together, how to value the case and how to get it resolved with the very best result for his client. He's been very easy to work with and to coordinate benefits with. He's at the top of my short list for personal injury case lawyers. You won't do better and you could do a whole lot worse!"

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
