Bill represented me for a traffic violation that I elected to contest. The case went to court and ended with a dismissal "in the interest in justice". I was completely satisfied with Bill. William Chestnut has been my attorney for several criminal and civil cases. In each case I have been given full benefit of his knowledge. One example is a case where I had a violation of felony probation and the Judge was giving all violators three years in prison. There were to be no exceptions. T...he Judge stated anyone fighting this sentence would likely get an even longer sentence for wasting the Court's time. Mr. Chestnut prevented my case from going before this judge and I was released from jail in three months-no prison time and no extension of my probation -which was to be up in another month. I never had to wonder what was happening in my case-I was always well informed despite no information ever being received from the jail or the district attorney. Mr. Chestnut defended me in mental health court, prop 36 court, drug court , divorce court, restraining order court and in a worker's comp case. If it was not for his diligent and knowledgeable defense strategies I would not have had the opportunity to rebuild my life. I now have an excellent job, a car, my freedom, a place to live. Without him, I would have simply been another prison ID number that no one gave a rat's a-- about. My life is back on the right track because of Bill Chestnut.

Very gentlemanly, honest, committed and transparent. He took up my case and filed a difficult writ though he had done that last 10 years back.
