Morris James Bisted Jr.

Mr. Bisted was hired as a mediator in early 2011 by my ex wife and me for a hopefully peaceful MSA as I have given up all of our community assets of about $2 M. As a mediator, he failed to advise my ex wife to accept my generous comprise. Instead he fueled her greed to ask for more unreasonable suppo...rts and dragged the case forever. I met Mr. Bisted on court twice trying to reach an agreement without being represented. However, he lied each time in front of the judge by saying he'd draft an agreement that should be fair and signed by the parties by the next court date on December 13, 2012 and I wouldn't need to appear on court if I trusted him. Then I received a notice from court saying I failed to appear and the case could be dismissed if I fail again on next court date. I even had to hire another true mediator, Mr. Stan Bartelmie, who practices across the street to deal with him. However, Mr. Bisted continued to be cold blooded and ignored many requests from Mr. Bartelmie. To make a long story short, a very unfair agreement was reached between my ex wife and me by which I had to pay her $3100 per month for C/S and S/S, and 100% of children's medical/dental, etc. My mediator told me that was very unreasonable and would not be ordered by court. Two months later the stipulated judgment was returned for many reasons-messed up dates and omitted mandatory language, etc. Mr. Bisted should have felt shamed as a law practitioner. Who knows he lacks of heart or knowledge? I finally asked Mr. Bartelmie for a referral of a trial lawyer and hired Nathalie Daprile law firm. Ms. Nicole Myers who started the process in June 2013 and closed the case by the end of 2013. Mr. Bisted was grilled by my attorney and finally fired by my ex wife. I ended the case by saving $150K and favorable terms on all aspects.
