Moira has been acknowledged as one of the top Family Law litigators in Silicon Valley. Although many Family Law attorneys are uncomfortable with any adversarial presentation of evidence and/or cross-examination of witnesses, Moira is experienced and truly proficient in real courtroom trials.
Moira believes that settlement is the preferred method of resolution for her cases, but she is always prepared to zealously advocate for her clients in trial if the opposing party is unreasonable.

Moira is phenomenal, and I know this firsthand...
Choosing Moira as my family law attorney was the best decision that I could have made for the protection of me and my children. She is phenomenal, and I know this firsthand because I started out by hiring another (albeit, bigger) law firm to handle my case. After a series of grave mistakes that wer...

Great Talent/ Great Work/ Great Lawyer!!!
I have used many lawyers over the years and this firm is the best! Most recently, I used this firm to deal with various messy issues arising from my divorce. PROBLEM SOLVED!! I have also used the firm for contract preparations and negotiations as well as a real estate dispute. They are responsive, ex...

Doesn't regularly respond to emails. Mainly in communication with her assistants and never Moira. Bills you largely for making copies and parking seems questionable. I asked multiple times to have a phone appointment with her and I was never responded to. I felt client negligence with her and am trau...

Failed In Court - Unethical Practices
My biggest regret is that I did not read the reviews regarding Ms. Hogan before I hired her. It would have saved me a year of stress and tens of thousands of dollars. I trusted Moira Hogan with my case she failed me miserably, and now I no other option but to file a complaint to the Bar Association...

WORST EVER!
Worst Lawyer I have ever met. Totally Scammer! I had a simple case: Married under 1 year, no community property, no kids. Total costs incurred to date: $30,000 and rising. Still getting bills from Moira. Oh yeah, three years and divorce is still not complete.
"I have known Moira Hogan for many years and in my experience, she gives each client that special personal attention that comes only from someone who really cares about you. But, she is so much more than a nice and caring attorney. On the flip side, she is a real fighter and she is among the best courtroom advocates you will find anywhere. Moira is not afraid of any other attorney, no matter how aggressive. Moira prides herself in taking on the most experienced opposing attorneys and/or the most aggressive opponents. For those cases where a client needs an especially aggressive advocate, Moira is willing to go the distance, in order to tip the balance of power back to your side. Moira is an excellent Family Law attorney and she fights as much for the children as for the parent she is representing. As a Certified Family Law Specialist, I know that she has the experience and the knowledge to handle divorce, custody, support, restraining orders and other Family Court issues competentl"
"Moira Hogan is an excellent trial lawyer, and in my opinion, she is among the best lawyers anywhere. She is an expert on evidence, witness examination and cross-examination. She writes excellent briefs and is an amazing negotiator. As a case progresses, she develops a sixth sense for how to approach the case and knows whether it is best settled or should be tried. I wholeheartedly endorse her as among the most talented lawyers in the State of California. If I needed a Family lawyer for any reason, I would personally ask for her assistance over any other attorney I have ever known."
"I dealt with Ms. Hogan in an adversarial family law matter. She was very capable, very aggressive for her client, and served her client's interests well."
