Call Sarah First

If CPS ever contacts you, do not agree to do anything until you have talked to Sarah first. She is very supportive, professional, and knowledgeable. I felt much more comfortable having her with us when CPS interviewed me, my wife, and my children.

Professional and Knowledgeable within CPS Involved Cases

I've hired Sarah to help with my case that involved CPS. I would recommend Sarah to anybody who have been wrongfully accused of child abuse, she would fight to get your child safely back with you. Sarah is knowledgeable and will keep a transparent communications with you regarding your case.

The Complete Package

Though the court (on the East Coast) ordered summer custodial time for me and child, my ex-spouse flew my son to California and petitioned to assert jurisdiction there. To compound the matter, a raft of child abuse and child neglect accusations were made to Child Protective Services (CPS), vict...im advocates, and the California court. As a result, CPS placed my son in a juvenile retention facility and imposed supervised visitation on me. This was false accusation hell, with the prospect of taking months to resolve. After interviewing a myriad of top flight lawyers for this problem set, I was referred to Sarah Marinho. During our initial consultation, I was struck by her grace, grit, and uncanny wit. From day 1, Sarah was attentive, thoughtful, and prompt to every question I had, no matter how small or complex. She knew the human terrain of actors (many were on her speed dial). She had complete mastery of legal procedure and case law relating to my situation, and explained the nuances with ease. And, at each step of the way, she gave incisive advice and counsel....on engaging CPS, on comportment in the court room and judge, on strategy and tactics to debunk the allegations, on disarming opposing counsel. In the end, I left California triumphantly with my son and he is still with me today. I'm grateful to Sarah Marinho and wholeheartedly recommend this happy warrior. She's the ultimate queen on the chess board.
