I have been litigating for 24 years.  I started my career as a Debtor's Bankruptcy attorney.  The practice area gave me a broad base of experience in small business issues facing clients entering bankruptcy.  What I learned as a bankruptcy attorney helps me in my practice to this day.  I am sensitive to the costs of litigation balanced against what litigation can realistically achieve for a client.  Not every potential case should be filed.  Every case should be looked at from the effect on the client, whether it be an individual person or a business, big or small.  Litigation does not happen in a vacuum and the variables that can affect a case are multifaceted.  If the case has to be tried, then being measured and practical about the road to trial is essential to a "good" outcome.  There are no perfect outcomes.

I am passionate about the practice of law and strive to make it as positive an experience as possible for everyone who entrusts me with their legal work.
