If you can stay out of litigation, great. Sometimes wrongful or careless conduct cause so much damage that litigation cannot be avoided. When that occurs, my firm loads up and goes for bear. Over the last 26 years, I have litigated a wide variety of cases successfully to jury verdict, including clergy/sex abuse, wrongful death, car and motorcycle accidents, real estate cases including trespass, encroachment, easements and eminent domain.

I have and do represent several celebrities in connection with negotiating contracts, contract litigation and protecting their right to protect their image, likeness and persona. Present clients include NFL star quarterback Joe Montana and the last man to walk on the moon, Captain Gene Cernan. I have also represented the first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong.

I have extensive experience in handling child abuse cases including obtaining jury verdicts in excess of $1.3 million. I have successfully litigated over 30 cases of child abuse against the Catholic church resulting in over $25 million in settlement. I was appointed and served on the Clergy III Mediation Committee under the direction of the Hon. Ronald Sabraw (Ret). I have set up a team of experts that evaluate the cause and damages suffered by those who have been the subject of abuse.

Slip and fall accidents are very difficult cases to prosecute. The law assumes you are looking where you are going and would therefore see any object or danger that may cause a fall. But, if for instance you are in a grocery store and are not watching out because you are looking for a product, or your attention is drawn to an advertisement designed to grab your attention, you may have a case worth pursuing. I have handled numerous slip and fall cases to a successful conclusion.
