I got in trouble after a concert in Felton. I called Sal the next day. He was more reasonable with cost less than the other lawyer I spoke with. I am from out of state but Sal called regularly with updates and handled my whole case without me having to be in court with him. He was very detail ori...ented. He had good relationships with the DA and Judge. He got my charge reduced and my fine eliminated. I’m not kidding it was the best lawyer experience I have ever had. Also, he plays guitar and is a fan of the Grateful Dead and many other bands. My case is all done and if possible I will be able to meet him in person over lunch or coffee some day. Can’t say enough great things about Sal. First he was able to get a case dismissed for me that both the DA as well as the “victim” didn’t want to have dropped. That was amazing and really all that mattered in the end. But also, Sal’s fee was fair and I felt he was very competent and he seems to b...e well liked and friendly with every on the DA’s staff that I saw him interact with at least. Im sure it’s this everywhere, but In a small county like Santa Cruz it’s personal relationships and the interpersonal strategy that your attorney employs and Sal seems to understands this very well. Sal really did go above and beyond with me. I’m not an easy client to wrangle and can be forgetful and Sal was always sure to remind me of important events and willing to sit down with me and give some legal advice.
