Madeleine is one of the best attorneys in Santa Cruz County. I have a very contentious child custody situation. I had been through a couple of different attorneys and was suggested to go to her by a friend who felt she would be a better attorney for my situation. It has made a world difference. She i...s very thorough and efficient. She doesn't waste her clients time. She has a very commanding presence in court. I was amazed at how she was very attentive to the details of my case and felt that she intuitively recognized unfair situations in my case and appropriately addressed them with the courts. She charges a little bit more than the other attorneys I had used, however, I think I would have paid less in the long run had she been the original attorney for my case. She is well worth her price. If you have a contentious divorce or custody situation and need some one who will fairly represent you and is very ethical, I highly recommend her. She was excellent in my case. I have heard since from multiple sources that she is revered as one of the best family law attorneys in Santa Cruz.
