Not satisfied

I first met with J.J with a fairly good impression on how he would handle my case. I made the decision to hire him as my attorney and was not entirely satisfied with the entire process. First obstacle was payment which had to be made by cash, seriously? Yes, i had to withdraw a large wad of cash and ...bring it in his office. The next issue was poor communication. I was pressed for time to meet at his office and relied on phone and email to keep each other informed what was happening with the case. There were times where he failed to reply for 5+ days! I was freaking out because noone at the office was answering their phones nor was i getting any responses back. Eventually when he did reply he merely brushed this occurrence casually as if nothing happened at all. During my case he told me what my options were and that i should take it. Since i relied on his knowledge i took that as my only option and went with it. However after the case was settled I later found out that i could have been in a MUCH better position if i had gone through a diversion program which he neglected to tell me. Granted he did manage to reduce the charge to a lesser degree, however i felt that he wanted the case to be finished earlier and not further pressing the case for my best interest. I'm surprised he didn't tell me this option and i really wish i was informed. I found out from other people with same background and circumstances who managed to get this result so it definitly was possible. In conclusion, the physical cash i had to withdraw to pay for his service didn't reflect the value of the agreed price. As a suggestion for J.J i recommend that you reevaluate your communication skills and payment options and overall depth of knowledge provided to those who ask for it, and not take any shortcuts.
