I highly recommend George to anyone who needs help from a lawyer. I recently had some accusations against me in which I needed to get a lawyer for both criminal and civil defense. I had a possible 2 felonies against me and a restraining order which I did not deserve, so I hired George to help me clea...r things up. George kept me updated on the process of everything and made me feel like he was trying his hardest to help. He was in contact with district attorney who was contemplating filing the charges against. George shared lots of info with the DA to hopefully stop the 2 felonies from being charged against. George was successful in doing so and my charges were 100% dropped before they were filed. It was an enormous relief to have that off of my shoulders and to avoid wasted time in court. With my restraining order, George got in contact with the party that asked for a restraining order, he was able to reason and talk sense into the person, and was able to make an agreement to drop the restraining order against me. Recently I had the need to hire a criminal defense attorney. Mr. George Gigarjian had come highly recommended to me from a close friend who also happens to be an attorney. I knew I would be in good hands because I respect my friends’ opinion and knew he would only recommend the best person to defend ...my case. I had never been involved in a criminal case before, and of course, I was very emotional and concerned about the situation. I frantically called his number on a Friday before a holiday weekend and surprisingly he answered his office phone. Two hours later I was sitting in front of him at his office. I immediately knew he was the right man for the job. He was so professional and yet so empathetic to my state of mind. He laid out the facts in a very down to earth manner which helped me to understand our path going forward. George is a fantastic lawyer. Having never dealt with the criminal justice system before in my life, I felt very uneasy at the beginning of the process but George's calm demeanor and extensive knowledge of the Santa Cruz County legal system put me at ease. George was very quick to respond when I firs...t reached out to him for help. He told me upfront what his expectations were for the case and sentencing should I be convicted giving a very clear best and worst case scenario. Given the complexity of my case he outlined some very crucial advice in helping me show the judge and DA that I was not a risk to be a repeat offender, and in the end the judge's sentence was half of that of what George's "best case scenario" would be. I owe George all the credit for helping me through this process and receiving a much more lenient sentence than what was anticipated.

George is a consummate professional. I retained George in September of 2017 on the recommendation of another lawyer who I trust immensely but could not use for this purpose.
