My family member needed to hire a lawyer in the county where she lives. She is 80 years old and randomly chose Mr. Penn. I live in another area. Mr. Penn assured me he would handle the case with the utmost care due to age and mental deterioration issues. The family member needed an anullment from t...he husband she married in the 80s because she is still married to her first husband. My family member gave Mr. Penn wrong information about the first husband, saying she got a legal divorce when in fact she didn’t. Mr. Penn didn’t even bother to look in the court records to verify if this was correct. It wasn’t! The anullment to the first husband went through and my family member has perjured themselves due to memory deterioration and now the anullment process could be null. Mr Penn should have advised her to divorce her first husband. Then anull the marriage to the second husband. Then remarry the second husband. Really irresponsible. Negligent.

I regret having Mr. Penn as an attorney for my grandson, Mr. Penn shows little compassion for the well being, and best interest of a child. Mr Penn has no knowledge of a young childs emotion, understanding that every child is different and unique, and not all childern are the same.Mr. Penn does not s...how the experince nor the comprehension for understanding fully , perhaps because of his age. Mr Penn does not show the quality or state of being capable of representing a child let along any other person. I wouldn't recommend Mr Penn to anyone, not even my worst enemy. It is very sad that Mr. Penn only intentions are the monies he collects from any clients even a young child. Shame on you Mr Penn how do you live with yourself as well as sleep at night, I hope Mr. Penn soon sees that he can't continue as the Devil advocate, If I could I would of not selected any star, but because I had to select 1 it is

All Mr. Penn cares about is a pay check. He over charges you for everything. So, keep an eye on your services. He loses in court everytime we go. He yells at his office staff in front of clients. He double talks. Mr. Penn will always charge you for everything and his advice usually bites you in... the butt when you get to court. Due to his age, I think he forgets most of what you told him to tell the judge, and he is lazy. I have heard from others the same problems. I would run the other way if I was you. Kids should matter. Please look elsewhere to find the best.
