1). I hired this lawyer to continue on my Divorce since my first lawyer is quite away from where I live (I moved to San Jose area. I was impressed with her plans, approaches and what she was going to do for my case that my spouse and her lawyer was advantageous to their notion/claim. Atty Spradlin t...urned around and resolved the case favoring her opponent in all possible means...Divorce is done. I wanted to dispute one thing about our home to be sold as stipulated on the Divorce order and or I should be compensated for it. Atty Spradlin asked me for payment which I did paid her lawyer partner at their office, now she is telling me that she is not taking any action since I did paid her, I sent her copies of my bank statement indicating direct payment to her. She is not responding to my emails or calls to this date. I need desperate help.

Advertises as a bankruptcy attorney with 90% litigation in adversary proceedings. I hired her to file an adversary proceeding against a broker lender billing dispute. My chapter 13 was already filed when I transferred the case to her. She agreed and required $1500 preferrably cash. She did not pro...vide a receipt or a copy of the signed agreement. She failed to show up to the lender's "Relief From Stay" hearing. After the hearing, I contacted her with what the judge said needed to be filed to stop the order. Ignoring the judge, she files a response to the creditor's relief from stay but fails to follow the code of bankruptcy procedures and the judge kicks it back. She then demands $10k to proceed. She files to be relieved as my attorney accusing me of things that were not true. I requested a copy of my file several times and she refused to give it to me. I requested a refund of unearned fees and she refused to refund my money. I asked for an invoice and she refused to provide me with one. I asked for a copy of our attorney client fee agreement and she refused to provide me with a copy. . During this same time frame, she was fighting her own foreclosure and chapter 13 bankruptcy and she informed the judge as having heart surgery scheduled. Yes, I was left without representation to fight the lender and yes,I lost my home.
