Yvonne Marie Magno

Yvonne M. Magno is a family law attorney representing and assisting families throughout California. She provides both mediation and litigation services with the goal of reaching reasonable settlement when possible.

Ms. Magno understands the personal and emotional aspects involved in family law cases and believes in approaching each case in a conscientious manner. She first gained invaluable experience and an in-depth understanding of family law issues as a judicial intern with the Santa Clara County Family Court Office of the Facilitator. She also did volunteer work at the Santa Clara County Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinic, as well as the San Diego Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinic, for which she received the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services. 

Ms. Magno handles a variety of family law cases, including divorce, parentage, child support, spousal support, and custody and visitation. In addition, she is knowledgeable and skilled in such complex matters as paternity presumptions, grandparents’ rights, and move-aways. 

Ms. Magno obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she earned Witkin and High Grade Awards. She received her B.A. in English and B.A. in Communication from the University of California at Davis, and was a recipient of the university’s Prized Writing Award. Prior to opening her practice, she was an adjunct lecturer of Business Law at the College of Saint Rose and worked at various clinics and private firms in California and New York.
