Very through and tough, a real winner!

I had Mr. Damon on my sons case some years back, when my son, then 11 years old, slipped and fell in CVS on a broken bottle of shampoo that was not cleaned up and broke his arm. The corporate office treated me like an uneducated piece of trash, and would not even discuss just paying for his medical b...ills, which was all I wanted at the time. This is what I get for being nice. Anyway , Richard heard the case and came in like a bear. My son got a lot more than just his medical bills paid. I currently have him working on my case. After a long interview with a new company, they wanted me to work for them very bad. They even flew me up to Washington State to train on equipment they owned to fix it quicker and understand it much better. 2 weeks later they called me up front to fire me for being too old and not fast enough! I'm 51 and in good shape, also a Veteran. They knew who they had at our initial interviews! BUT NO, they wanted me then. It cost me almost 700.00 dollars to get my tool boxes to the company site, plus gas and 2 days of lost work hours. I have 28 years in the field and fixed A LOT of electrical problems they have been fighting before I got there, they also have tons of money cause they are big and growing. Originally I might have understood during our first interviews, but COME ON! After all the training and upgrades I put in those 2 weeks, what a waste of time when I could have used to find a real home and job site. The FIRST PERSON THAT CAME TO MY MIND WAS RICHARD DAMON. Thank you Richard, you deserve every dime you also made, without question. Thank you. JDB

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
