Ms. Thomas looks good on paper, with 38 years of experience doing family law under her belt. However, there are sometimes consequences when one has been doing something for so long. As my attorney during my divorce, Ms. Thomas showed little compassion and little interest in my case, to the point wher...e she overlooked a temporary ruling and wasted everyone's time and money by showing up to a hearing where the judge was not expecting us. She was also very unresponsive. It was not uncommon for me to leave several messages for her during a one or two week period, and still not get a call back. Perhaps her workload was too much, but then I think she shouldn't have taken my case. I always felt like she was irritated or was in a hurry when we spoke on the phone. She is no longer my attorney. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a family attorney. Divorce is already stressful and traumatic. You don't need your lawyer to add to that stress.
