I regret having to write this review, but I want to share my experience in hopes that it helps others. I hired Lina M. Alta to help me with my permanent residency application. Unfortunately, she entered the wrong mailing address on my application. As a result, my green card was returned to immigratio...n and ultimately destroyed. Now I have to start the process all over again and pay over $1,000 out of my own pocket to reapply—all because of her error. What’s even more upsetting is that she has refused to take responsibility or assist with the additional costs, even though it was clearly her mistake. I trusted her as a legal professional to handle this important matter with care, but this has caused me unnecessary stress, time, and financial loss. I expected more accountability from someone in her position.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the services provided by immigration attorney Lina Alta. It is with great frustration that I outline the significant shortcomings and unprofessional conduct that I experienced throughout my engagement with Ms. Alta. Despite my trus...t and the substantial financial investment of $8000, Ms. Alta failed to fulfill her professional duties and responsibilities. Her neglect caused my application process to expire, leading to significant personal and financial repercussions. Additionally, Ms. Alta displayed rude, arrogant, and disrespectful behavior, which added to the distress of an already challenging situation. Furthermore, Ms. Alta misled me regarding crucial aspects of the immigration process and displayed a lack of diligence in addressing important details, such as the update of my home address on the application. Given these distressing experiences, I am compelled to caution others against engaging Ms. Alta's services due to her unprofessional conduct and failure to deliver the expected level of service
