Highly Recommend Rachel and her Team

I interviewed a number of different lawyers and while all were knowledgable. Rachel distinguished herself with her friendly but very practical demeanor. She was efficient, empathetic yet realistic, extremely easy to talk to, and honest. Compared to the other lawyers that I met with, I found her eas...y to relate to and felt she understood my situation and challenges very quickly. We ended up using a mediator but Rachel provided excellent counsel when I needed it, especially towards the end of our process. Importantly, however, she prepared me well to enter into mediation. I feel the mediation process was more efficient because I got great advice from Rachel in the one hour consult we had prior. Prior to our meeting, I had sent her a lengthy e-mail outlining the issues and my priorities. She took the time to read through this and had questions for me when we met. I felt this was respectful of my time and resulted in a much more productive, focused discussion with clear action items for me as a result. At the end of the day, divorce is a business transaction with a lot of emotion attached. Rachel made it a more pleasant experience throughout. And while I did not need her as much as I anticipated (thankfully), I have heard others give her extremely high marks for getting the job done. In fact a friend of mine had a few lawyers before connecting with Rachel and once connected, her divorce was expedited. Our mediator, who is very well known in our county, spoke highly of Rachel too which gave me a lot of comfort.

Outstanding family law attorney in Marin County

Ms. Castrejon has incredibly persistence, epic knowledge of divorce law in Marin, patience, the ability to explain legal processes and rulings simply and effectively, excellent reputation among her peers and supreme organization. She cares about her clients while keeping the divorce process professi...onal AND human - a rare talent. Ms. Castrejon helped me save my sanity through a protracted divorce while keeping the process going. Her staff is also organized, professional and caring.

Top Family Law Attorney

Rachel was recommended to me by one of Marin’s top family law attorneys to handle my child support modification. Looking back on my experience both during divorce and post divorce child support modification there are several things I would look for in an attorney and Rachel possesses all of these q...ualities and characteristics. One of the most important qualities in an attorney that no one ever tells you to look for is their ability to work with other attorneys. Are they social with other attorneys? Are other attorneys their friends? If the answer is yes then the chances are much greater for an amicable fair settlement. Something I believe most people are looking for. Rachel possesses both of these qualities. Client accessibility at all times is very important. Rachel is always there for her clients, emotionally and legally. She is able to make things that seem like a crisis and very complicated become very simple and straightforward in a very comforting and assuring way. Nothing slips through the cracks as she and her staff are very attentive to every detail all at a price that is more than fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend her to anyone and my only regret is that I will most likely not have the opportunity to engage her services again.

"I have been an attorney for ten years, and I have observed Rachel practicing law for over three years. Rachel is an excellent attorney. She is sensitive to the fact that her clients are going through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Rachel is also a strong advocate and negotiator on behalf of her clients, and always seeks the quickest and most affordable resolution of disputes. Rachel works very hard for her clients and I recommend her very highly."

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Rachel was opposing counsel in a case which could have become highly contentious for people that had little funds to litigate. Once we met for a conference, we settled the case in one day. She is extremely intelligent, she does not take unreasonable positions and she litigates effectively for her clients. I cannot recommend a Marin County, CA family law attorney more highly than Rachel."
