The public biography emphasizes ‘fighting for the community’ and ‘developing future lawyers,’ but when an affected parent who has already litigated a federal habeas matter pro se seeks counsel for a separate civil rights action, there is no effort to understand the issues, no clarifying questions, and no meaningful engagement. The disconnect between the advertised values and the actual conduct was stark enough that I will be directing my case and any potential referrals to attorneys whose practices more closely align with their stated commitments.
