Biography
I am a partner at Gibbs Law Group LLP and Of Counsel to Girard Gibbs LLP, and I represent clients in a wide variety of medical mass tort matters, including In re: Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation; In re: Yasmin and Yaz (Drospirenone) Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation; In re: Actos (Pioglitazone) Products Liability Litigation; In re: Risperdal and Invega Product Liability Cases JCCP 4775; and In re: Mirena IUD Products Liability Litigation, among others.
I also represent consumers in class action litigation, and have experience working closely with class representatives and consumer contacts and participating in all stages of litigation. I have been involved in successful actions against Chase Bank, Ducati, and Dish Network. I am currently speaking with clients and investigating claims about the effects of Syngenta’s GMO corn seed on U.S. corn export prices in In re: Syngenta AG MIR 162 Corn Litigation.

On November 19, 2012, U.S. District Judge Maxine M. Chesney granted final approval of a $100 million settlement with JPMorgan Chase & Co. on behalf of Chase cardholders.
In Re Yasmin and Yaz (Drospirenone) Marketing, Sales Practices, and Product Liability Litigation
Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, makers of Yasmin and Yaz, have paid out $1.7 billion thus far to women alleging thrombotic and gallbladder injuries resulting from the use of their birth control pills.
In re: Actos (Pioglitazone) Products Liability Litigation
Amy Zeman and other counsel for plaintiffs nationwide are currently in settlement talks with Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, manufacturer of Actos.
In re: Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation
