Broderick Hanson Brown

Met with Mr. Brown for representation of an unlawful detainer action. He was late to our appointment. He was convincing in that I had a good case of retaliation from my landlord. I retained his services only to met with a cocky attitude (even though he was inexperienced in landlord tenant matters)... and a take or leave it approach to litigation. We did not agree on his litigation strategy and subsequently he quit. In his motion to terminate, he embellished his reasonings by suggesting I was difficult and and done things to jeopardize my case. This was a complete and total fabrication of the facts in order to relieved from the matter. Additionally, I discovered after the matter had been settled he withheld critical information about hearing dates that were masked. My advice? When you identify a red flag, WALK AWAY. He has been disciplined by the CA Bar for a reason!
