Attorney Gaurav Bali was recommended to me by one of his former law school classmates for my family law case. His classmate said to me, “I know the best attorney for your case, I have worked with him and I know he is great at resolving complicated disputes and cases.” At the time I received this reco...mmendation/referral, I had already been entrenched in family court litigation for over a year with another attorney. The issues were complicated and were not limited to child custody, real state, child support, spousal support, and restraining orders. My previous attorney tried to negotiate with my ex-husband's attorney but the negotiations never took us anywhere and the previous attorney was not listening to me about what I wanted. I felt that my previous attorney did not understand how to maneuver various legal angles that would benefit me. My ex-husband was telling falsehoods to put the attorneys and other people against me. My case lasted two and half years and it ended in a way that I feel was the perfect result for me. I got the best possible outcome - I bought out my ex-husband's interest in our home, he moved out, and now I am a homeowner! (The buy-out of my ex-husband's interest in the family home was very complicated and while I was discouraged and frustrated with the refinancing process, Gaurav pushed me to the finish line). I hired Mr. Bali for my DV and family law case. He litigated every issue, was well prepared, and helped me defeat the false allegations made by my former spouse.
