Unlike every other public defender I've had who (understandably due to caseload) can only provide the most basic legal assistance - sometimes forced to negotiate pleas when the case could be winnable, Sureyma took initiative, and pushed my case towards a resolution better than I could have thought to... even ask for. When I was unexpectedly arrested, Sureyma found me without me having to reach out and explained through motions or whatever magic she does the true facts of the situation; she had me out in 3 days when I thought I would be unjustly imprisoned for 6 years. The best. Obviously a compassionate and engaged real human who cares about my life.
