Biography
My practice with individual clients is limited to consensual dispute resolution (settlement) of family law disputes (divorce, separation, premarital agreements), without going to court and without the intervention of third party decision makers. Such processes include working in Collaborative Practice, as Settlement Counsel and as a consulting attorney for a client in mediation.
I also serve couples and families by helping them to resolve their own disputes in private and on their own terms by acting as a neutral mediator.
I help people to reach fair and equitable resolutions that respect the needs of both parents and the needs of their children. I believe that people should have every opportunity to craft their own solutions when their family undergoes a transition. In my experience, this leads to better results and minimizes the emotional anf financial damage that can occur in a hostile and adversarial separation and divorce.
