Tracey Charad Wapnick

Tracey Wapnick managed my divorce for me. She's smart, articulate and knows the law very well. She handled the legal documents and proceedings on my behalf and assured that my less than ethical ex didn't get away with the many sneaky ploys that her attorney tried. On the nuts and bolts side of bei...ng a divorce lawyer, there is none better. Beyond that however, Tracey's done an amazing job of managing the more subtle aspects of the process. She was extremely helpful in triaging which of my ex's issues were worth defending, both from my personal perspective and from the perspective of minimizing her own fees. She is not the type of attorney who encourages conflict for the sake of driving up costs, but consistently sought the more pragmatic resolution. She knows the inner working of the legal system very well and also seems to know most of the judges and other attorneys. She would take the time to explain to me the ways in which the letter of the law differs from how it's generally applied in practice. Her judgment and perspectives were invaluable. She's very sharp and her mind goes right to the center of each issue. That clarity of thought comes through in her spoken presentations to the court and in her written documents. Both were always clearly understandable by me; and in hindsight, persuasive to the judge. I'd recommend Tracey to anyone in the unfortunate process of getting divorced. Five stars!
