I have used Mr. Merritt L.Weisinger, a family law attorney, to represent me in my divorce case. His legal advice is always very comprehensive and based on detailed analysis of all aspects and circumstances in the case. Mr. Weisinger is aggressive and smart, his argumentation is very thorough and convincing which is definitely good basis for success. His professionalism and expertise were always essential in moving towards best solutions during my divorce procedures.

Merritt is an abusive sexist Attorney. He would swear at me & not do things I requested him 2 do.when I interviewed him I asked if he had a problem asking 4 attorneys fees & he said no problem yet he would sign off my case have me appear in pro se 2 request attorneys fees & then come back on again when I got attorneys fees awarded. He made a deal back chamber with the judge 4 me 2 sell 2 rentals 2 use the money 2 buy out my husband share of my home & gave me 60 days 2 do so or I would be out of my home in 2 days. That's the deal he made in the judges back Chambers. Meetings back Chambers should be outlawed because clients don't get 2 hear what's being said about them or get to participate in the deals that they make in the back. Merritt did not make this a stipulation & an order & did not advise me 2 do nothing until we had a stipulation & Order. Probably believing I wouldn't be abable 2 sell my properties in 60 days & wanting the money from the sale of my home 2 be able 2 pay 4 the rest of my. case He even put a charging lien on one of my properties that was in escrow even though I needed every penny 2 be able 2 buy out my husband share. He later tried 2 backpedal not having this stipulation, 2 have the judge agree 2 let me buy my husband share from the Monies of the sale of the 2 properties without the stipulation. Instead the judge now said the other side convinced him he didn't have the authority 2 let me do that & as I say Merritt got no order before he told me 2 sell my 2 rentals within 60 days or I would be out of my principal residence my home of 25 years. I now have huge tax consequences & my house was sold to a stranger. When he signed off the last time we were supposedly having a court date & I asked him when that was he didn't look at his calendar he looked at Open Access & nothing was showing so he said we had no court date. Yet on that court date he called My Ex's attorney &asked if he was going & my ex's attorney said yes and Merritt told him he was not going he was no longer my attorney. why did he call my ex's attorney why dident he call me to say he made a mistake you do have a court date. when I miss that court date the house was awarded 2 my husband I appealed that order & stupidly had Merritt come on in the afternoon when the judge awarded attorneys fees in the morning. My ex was actually sanctioned the atty fees. When Merritt reiterated that I wanted the orders dropped the judge granted that. This is all in transcript this is not hearsay or poor remembering this is in transcript. Merritt then said, but if you want to adopt them again I would understand and the judge did adopt them again that day and awarded the house back 2 my husband. Merritt was let go. does the word malpractice seem appropriate? this is just the tip of the iceberg of what he did 4 my case Earlier When I had a loan set up 2 buy out my husband Merritt told the real estate agent who had my listing that had expired where my escrow was so that the agent could put in a demand 4 commission even though his listing has expired. Merritt told my agent where my escrow was because he thought the agent should be paid even though he didn't sell my house. when I say this is the tip of the iceberg this is the tip of the iceberg there is so much more. this man is working 4 money only & doesn't care about his client in the least. when I first walked into his office he gave me a fake hug it was downhill after that with insults swearing. I had a friend come 2 every meeting taking notes who was witness 2 all of this as well. I have lost my home of 25 years because of him I don't have any rentals because of him all money is held with no help on his side to release money I am homeless & living in my car 4 over a year now he personally didn't like my home when I brought him over 2 see what I was fighting 4 & thought I should sell it & get a condo. He also sent emails 2 my husband disparaging me and CCd me breaking our confidential atty client privilege

I like Merritt, his staff and his office from the minute that I walked into the door. I immediatley picked up on the amount of energy he has put into his practice and the feeling it has. I hired Merritt to draft a prenup agreement and while I had done prior research he proved very knowledgeable filling in all the answers to all of the questions that I had and he speaks from a position of experience and what he has seen over the years. I will definetly be hiring Merritt again if/when the need arises and would recommend him.
