I have helped thousands of victims during my career. Going through the process of helping these victims, I have learned what tremendous hardships people are forced to undergo. Victim driver speeding vehicle in heavy rain on two-lane roadway, loses control and slams into object off roadway. Highly disputed liability. Settlement $1 million.

Car accident causes victim to sustain disc injuries requiring surgeries. Settlement $650,000.

I began my own law firm in 1989, shortly after the death of my mentor and employer, Robert E. Cartwright Sr., then one of the most prominent plaintiff's attorneys in the U.S. I decided to become a lawyer to help people, generally. Early in law school, I was drawn to helping tort victims, which led me to the fields of personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, nursing home neglect and other similar areas of study.
