I hired attorney Bu to help me change immigration status. She asked me to pay 500 bucks without any question about my situation. Because I was in urgent need, I paid her the requested amount. Then the next day, she and her assistant told me they were quite busy, if I was in a hurry, they could send m...e a list of required documents and I can prepare the application on my own. My wife and I prepared and reviewed most of the documents. Then we asked her to help us double check. They said everything looked fine and it was good to go. So we mailed all the materials to USCIS on the same day. After mailing, my wife searched online to double check the mail was sent to the correct address, and we suddenly found it was not. So we called them to confirm, her assistant then realized it was a wrong address and asked us to print and mail (including money order) again. As we finally mailed all the documents in time, we did not ask for any refund. After a while, I requested her a letter to confirm my legal stay during the change of status. She asked for 150 bucks. I told her that because they made quite a lot mistakes last time, I preferred to pay upon completion of the letter. She agreed and this took her forever to prepare. Every time I called her, she said she would finish it soon but she never sent it back to us. This continued for 3 weeks and now she does not even answer my phone. Yesterday I tried to call her using a different phone number and she ANSWERED and made another false promise. What a shame!
