I'm a Bay Area Native. My proudest accomplishments are that I'm a mother, wife and an 11 year Army Veteran.
I met my husband (also an Army Veteran) in 1989 after returning from a tour of duty in the Philippines. We were both Civil Affairs Specialists assigned to the 445th Civil Affairs Company, a little known unit under the US Army Special Operations Command.
I'm a proud mother to 2 boys and step-mother to 1 son. Being a mother, step-mother and having been raised primarily by my father, have prepared me to understand and deal with emotionally complex Family Law matters, better relating to my clients. It is critical the attorney you select to handle your Family Law matter has real life experience in relation to your legal matter.
I graduated from John F. Kennedy University School of Law and have been a member in good standing of the California State Bar since 2004. I'm also a member of the Alameda County Bar Association.
Before opening my own law office, I worked many years for a very high-volume Family Law firm which gave me daily presence in Alameda and Contra Costa Family Courts on hundreds of cases. This gave me significant trial experience, and taught me many lessons about what to do as a lawyer and Family Law practitioner, and what not to do.
This experience and knowledge benefits my clients greatly because I am familiar with the courts, procedures, laws, and judicial officers who will be presiding over your case.
I pride myself on my high level of integrity with my peers and the courts. I give straight-forward advice to my clients. Because of this policy, there may be times when I have to tell you things you may not want to hear, or present concepts to which you may not agree. However, in doing so, I am not only giving you ammunition, I am thoroughly preparing you for the likely and realistic outcome of your case. There are never any surprises and you will never feel unprepared.
I'm regarded by my peers and judicial officers as a well-prepared, knowledgeable, and tenacious advocate who gets results for my clients, yet able to invoke reasonable settlement agreements in many cases.

Kelly Gamble and Staff are TOP NOTCH
I cannot say enough about Kelly Gamble and her staff. I had a somewhat complicated case and had been to another attorney in San Leandro that said he could not help me. I was totally freaked that I was not going to be able to protect my nephew and I called Kelly's office and set up an appointment. ...
"Ms. Gamble is well respected, knowledgeable, and someone who will advocate strongly for her clients."
"I endorse Kelly Gamble for family law matters. She is able to focus on the issues at hand. Kelly is a true advocate for her clients and able to get the results needed."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked with Kelly on one of the most frustrating and trying cases I've encountered. Kelly remained professional and tried her hardest to bring an amicable resolution to the matter without giving up her integrity when her client became tough on her. I have and will continue to recommend her to people."
"Kelly has represented the opposing party in several family law matters that I have handled. She is very focused, pragmatic and knows this area of the law."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have often been able to observe Kelly Gamble in court and it is clear that she is extremely hardworking and very knowledgeable about Family Law."
