Biography
Doug Pharr is a native Californian, born in Oakland CA. He joined the United States Marine Corps reserve in 1980 after graduating from Skyline HS and went on active duty in 1985. He graduated with a B.S in Law from National University in 1987. Honorably discharged in 1989, he received his J.D. from California Western School of Law in 1992. After passing the BAR, Pharr began serving his community as a Deputy District Attorney in 1993, working as a prosecutor. He won his first Felony Trial case involving a gang-related shooting. Moving to Napa in 1999 he entered private practice in 2007. Active in the community, Pharr and his wife have four children.
