Sarah Jane Eisenhart

To keep a very long story short I was charged with murder, gang enhancements,and gun enhancements in March of 2014. I was sitting in county jail for about two in a half years before I was blessed with Sarah eisenhart and Alyssa Huff. Sarah made sure I had all my paperwork and watched all witnesses vi...deos. She hired not one but two gang experts for our defense and had our p.i interview many witnesses and kept me updated on all progress. She never encouraged me to snitch and she is not scared to fight against the system. She explained to me in great detail the law and the theory on me. We turned down every deal the da offered. At the pretrial stage Alyssa wrote a 995 motion along with my help as I spent countless hours studying the law and my case. The second day of trial Sarah successfully agured the motion and my entire case got dismissed. Any one who knows the law knows that is unheard of. As a result the da was forced to offer me a deal that was only four months shy of credit time served. Sarah is very well know and respected in contra Costa county. She is extremely smart and leaves nothing to chance. Don't waste thousands of dollars on a private lawyer who won't do half what Sarah can do. I recommend Sarah to anyone fighting a felony case in contra Costa county. Since ivea been out I run into countless people who all tell me the same thing every time.. I can't believe your out i never thought idea see you again!! I respond by telling them the same thing every time I had the best lawyer!!!! To this day I still keep in close contact with Sarah. Our relationship is more than just a lawyer cilent one. At the time Alyssa wrote the motion she was a graduate law clerk most lawyers never successfully write a 995 motion on a case like mine in there whole career. Alyssa did however before her career even started. Not only are Sarah and Alyssa great lawyers but there both great people who care.

I was lucky enough to have her appointed to me by the alternate defenders office! It was my first and only time ever having been in jail or any trouble at all. I was so relieved when she came to visit me and discuss my case before court which was scheduled for the next day. Ms. Eisenhart was soft sp...oken and kind, yet diligent and assertive. She was always well prepared and did everything in her power to genuinely help me get through my case which was a doozy of a first offence I must add. Numerous felony charges dismissed, thank god and my wonderful lawyer.... it helped that I'd never been in any trouble before that but there were times I'd missed court after h having been released from jail that I was still fighting the case and I had mistaken my court date and did not show up when I was supposed to and she had my back totally. She made sure the judge didn't issue a warrant for my arrest and got a new court date for me. My phone was disconnected sometimes and in that event she was always sure to contact my email until she got through to me and made sure I was ok and aware of my next hearing. She warned me when I needed warning, listened with patience even if I was ranting, and even let me know about certain family members of mine that were working against me so I could be aware and choose more wisely who I should and shouldn't share my personal business with. I really though that was refreshing and rare to be allowed information like that because it has a major impact on your life and sanity when people you love are working against you and everyone who knows about it just stays quiet while that watch you fall apart trying to figure out whose real or Not...... All in all, I just gotta say I am truly grateful to have been lucky enough to have Ms. Eisenhart on my side fighting with me, and for me. She's an amazing lawyer, with a good heart and a sharp mind and I just love her to death for all her help! She is highly recommended!!!!
