I retained Ms Steneberg when my mother passed away to aid me with the estate issues and to find an executor for my mother's estate. At first I thought she was a decent lawyer until she screwed up about everything. She gave me THE MOST EXPENSIVE fiduciaries (her friends apparently...she was enriching ...her friends) as referrals. She didn't answer questions, didn't reply to phone calls, charged me for the calls anyway. She charges and charges. And when I retained the trustee for the Special Needs Trust my mother set up she didn't send me any bills even though I kept asking where the bills were and what was she doing on my behalf. The EXECUTOR she suggested took a 1/3 of my mother's house sale even though the house was paid off and her taxes were paid. The executor threw everything away. I wasn't allowed access to the house at all. Ms Steneberg didn't seem to care as long as she could send bills to the trustee BEHIND MY BACK to the tune of over 10,000. She almost ruined the actuall SNT by suggesting that a survior's pension could go there, then changed her mind 6 months of billing later. RESULT? I lost my SSI.
