Highly recommened Trust and Estate Attorney

Review: Kim Cameron – Smith, Trust and Estate Attorney We did a very thorough vetting of candidates, in our recent search for a local Livermore, CA Trust Attorney. My wife and I were looking for a Family Revocable Trust to include Pour over Wills, Durable Powers of Atty., Advance Health Care Direc...tives and finally Transfer of Home into Trust with step-up valuation. No doubt many parts of the trust language are boiler plated and one can take the different pieces to create a Revocable Trust with all the other provisions on their own. The value of having a qualified trust attorney in my opinion is not only to ensure meeting California law and to provide advice in preventing falling into probate but also the ability in situations where for one’s specific goals may require customizing parts of the various provisions. What is unique in my vetting process was I came upon the profile of Kim Cameron - Smith that had no reviews. In reviewing her background, I felt why no reviews? Her academic credentials and professional experience seemed very impressive, and her fixed price was most competitive. In speaking with Kim, it became apparent that marketing was not a part of her securing clients. Her practice was primarily based on referrals. I asked for a couple of references to consider her services. And in speaking with her references, they were both outspoken and overlay happy with their interaction and the results she provided for their Trust and Estates. We went with Kim to create our Family Trust. If you are looking for a hands-on attorney that provides the time to address all your questions, concerns and gives the necessary advice to ensure California compliance and future assets are structured to mitigate probate Kim is highly recommended.
