Roberto Carlos Jimenez Torres

Roberto C. Jimenez is an experienced trial attorney focusing in criminal defense and family law. Mr. Jimenez has been practicing in the Bay Area for 17 years and is active in both State and Federal Courts. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz and his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). As a criminal and civil attorney, Mr. Jimenez aggressively fights for the rights of his clients and has obtained significant victories on their behalf, including reduced or dismissed charges for criminal defendants and large settlements for a variety of civil suits. Mr. Jimenez is also a panel member of the Criminal Court Appointed Attorneys Program (CAAP) in Alameda County, where he protects and upholds the constitutional rights of indigent defendants. In addition, Mr. Jimenez has worked as a volunteer, workshop leader, and pro bono legal counselor at a number of community organizations, including the Legal Aid Society Employment Law Center’s Workers Rights Clinic and Centro Legal De La Raza. As a result of his extensive work in the community, Mr. Jimenez has been the recipient of several awards and is frequently requested as a guest speaker at businesses and organizations throughout the Bay Area.
