Immigration matters regarding minor children out of wedlock

Attorney Lozano handled the case of my three minor grandchildren whose father is a naturalized citizen. These grandchildren of mine are children out of wedlock and their mother is my niece. All documents for legal claims and evidence submitted by attorney Lozano to immigration were all approved resul...ting arrival of my grandchildren here in states in no time.

Thank you Atty Crispin Lozano.

Being in a removal proceeding was so scary. One San Francisco Downtown lawyer advised me to just go on a voluntary departure. My wife says "Let's try Atty Crispin Lozano". Atty Lozano gave me hope to be united with my family. November 2011, the U.S. Immigration Court granted my request for a Waiver ...of Misrepresentation and I become eligible for naturalization.

Just a Gildiroy Lockhart Lawyer! A rip off! Stay away from him, kababayan!

I consulted with this lawyer a year ago for immigration issues due to a referral from a good friend, and he simply advised us to calm down, with those sweet smiles, and to go on with job searching (I am a laid off H1B). A year after, I came back for another round of consultation, this time our sit...uation is more complex. I waited for a week for the appointment, and to my disappointment, he refused to give ANY advise in a fear that he could commit MISTAKE! He is referring me to a MORE knowledgeable lawyer instead! I tried to get my money back, at least, but he initially refused to return it. After raising my voice, that's the only time he issued a check amounting to 50% of consultation fee. Worse, the check bears "CASH" on the Payee, prompting me to shelf-off check encashment fee. Complaining to his assistants will only be futile, may you have been served or not, or have been out of job! Walang patawad, kababayan! Wala naman palang alam! Stay away as much as you can from this lawyer!

Mr. De Vera: First you issued a check so I have to clear it before I even refund any money, but I issued you half of it. Then later I sent you the balance. Although there is no refund policy on consultation, I refunded it because you are not happy with the advice not to take risk for your wife to travel outside the U.S. which is a prudent advice. She may not be able to come back to U. S. I am protecting your spouse and you are not happy with that. Atty. Lozano

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
