i was going thru my divorce & child custody case over 10 years ago, at first I went with a Filipina lawyer as she was a referral her name was Mary Gubatina, and she did not handle my case in the best way possible, she was late to our court hearings and just did not do a good job at all. My abusive, d...rug addicted ex husband was granted visitation of our minor children and at the end of the case the judge was pretty much on his side. I was so upset, outraged at the outcome and was so mad about how much money I spent I lost all my faith in lawyers. I vowed to do everything In Pro Per going forward. About a year later my eldest son had an opportunity to play basketball in Los Angeles, and although my ex agreed to let him move, he would often hold it over my head saying that if our son refused to visit with him that he would go to the judge and tell them he did not give permission for him to move out of the county, my eldest son and his father had a very rough relationship. My son witnessed all his abuse towards me and towards himself and his little brother, he did not want to see his dad and refused to spend his weekends with him even though they were court ordered so I decided to take him to court for relocation rights as i was also planning to move to SoCal as well. I was referred to Mr, LaRose from a friend who wasn't even Mr. Larose's client but her ex husband was and he won their case, she referred me to him because she said he was THAT good! I couldn't resist under those circumstances, so I called Mr. LaRose and after our first meeting he reassured me that what I was doing for my children was the right thing and I retained him on the spot. Mr. LaRose not only got the judge to grant our relocation rights but he also got the judge to hear my son out and did not force him to visit with his father, resulting in my ex's visitation rights to our oldest son revoked. it was the best outcome ever and Mr. LaRose really did restore my faith in the judicial system and in lawyers. I am a single mother of 3 boys and i had to work hard and save money in order to retain him but it was completely worth it. and now here i am 12 years later i am in need of a lawyer and i am not hesitating on who i should call. I will be calling Mr. LaRose.
