Zero stars if I could.!!!! This was my husband’s court-appointed attorney, and the experience was completely disappointing. I truly believe that even if we had paid him, the same lack of care, effort, and basic competence would have shown. In six months, he never once went to visit my husband in co...unty jail. The only time he spoke to him was for about five minutes right before court—never enough time to understand the case, prepare, or show real concern. Even worse, I noticed what I believe to be racial bias in how my husband was treated—dismissive, uninterested, and far from the advocate he was supposed to be. If this is how he handles court-appointed cases, I worry for anyone who hires him privately. Everyone deserves fair, thorough, and respectful legal representation. Unfortunately, we didn’t get that here.

Mr Nelson was hired to handle a case for me in 2014. In pre trial he failed to do his job. I then fired him and hired a new attorney. I won the case at trial. Because of mr Nelson not following through I spent 2 months in jail waiting for my right to a speedy trial. I would not use Mr. Nelson for the... plain and simple fact that he has no attention to detail and it's the attention to details that win cases in the judicial system.
